That exact thing happened to me one time (Same bike same side) and I called my friend who is a mechanic, and he said to shake it real hard til I could hear the gas swishing around in the tank... I thought that was strange, but hey, it worked! The second time it happened I had knocked a fuse loose and just needed to push it back in... Hope this helps :)
