| Hi I brand new to the sport of street bikes and just purchased a 98 GSXR with 22,000 miles. Purrs like a kitten, but one problem. Only in second gear when you open up the throttle at exactly 7000 rpms the drive kicks out and the bike revs higher and then the accerleration continues at roughly 7500 rpms and is good from there. ALL other gear are good. Could this be a chain/sprocket problem or a clutch/tranny problem. Any ideas |
