Starter?????

So my 04 GSXR600 won´t start, the headlights and gages work so its not the battery, theres oil and gas in it, the fuses are all good, and I can push start it....is there anything else besides the starter that could be wrong? and where is the starter? is it hard to get to? Thanks for your help!
