I´ve got 18 years of biking under my belt and ridden about 25 different bikes owned around 15 of those. The fastest bike I´ve owned was a CBR1000F and if the GSX750 is to be compared to that then yes its fast. Not much faster at the top end than a 600 but much better acceleration and low end grunt. I use between 3 & 5000 revs for most town riding which keeps me in front of everything except sports cars and boy racers with attitude problems! Give it a handful at 6000 plus and it´ll see off some surprisingly fast cars!
Just depends how fast you want to go? If you are an adrenaline junkie buy a Hayabusa!! If you want a smooth, reliable, comfortable quick bike the GSX750F is a good choice and cheap too!
