Is it worth buying for a price of new Duke 390

Hi guys,

I have a police used gsx 750p 2000 model owner says it´s some 10000 miles on it .Should I buy it or go for a new Duke 390. Are there any plausible problem s that could generate on the bike if it´s sitting idle for long or has been used roughly.
