I just bought my first bike!!! 2001 Suzuki Katana. I have not yet taken it for a ride, but I have a question. When I start the bike up for a period of time to get it warmed up etc... then I turn it off... a little fan noise (to cool off the engine) stays on for a good 15 minutes or so. Is this normal? It eventually shuts off and I was told this is to cool the engine, but does it do that everytime you start and stop the bike? cuz I only had it running for like 10 minutes, then turned it off and the fan stood on for a good 15 minutes. Is this something normal for this bike or all bikes? Thank you!!!
