Hi my Name is Mitchell, i just bought a GSX550 EF. It has always had a noticable flat spot between 6-9000 RPM. After it has pulled through this flat spot (finally) it is fine and actually goes extremely well above that. It has an after market exhaust which seems to be a bit over sized for the bike. Could this be the problem or possibly the constant velocity carby´s playing up.
