I recently tried to use 02 GSF1200 carbs in my GSX1100G and had very simmilar problem. I eventually went back to the original carbs, but I noticed that the air suction orfice of the Bandit is significantly smaller, compared to GSX1100G. While playing , i closed partually the air intake orfice of the GSX1100G and the problem almost disapeared. My feeling is that You will have to go at least 1 notch richer on the needle and probably 2 sizes up on the main jets. My Bandit is ´98 with 2 K&N pod filters and Yosh RS3 pipe. I have a jet kit, but it was installed by the previous owner and I just rejetted it to my liking. The bike has increadible performance, BUT the gas mileage sucks. I am getting 33 mpg,/7.5-8 l/100km/ |
