I am having trouble starting my 1999 1200S Bandit. When I turn the ignition, I get power but when I press the starter, I get a click from under the seat and everything dies, no lights, no horn, or anything. I jostle the battery, get electricity back and try again. This goes on for a while and usually by about the fifth try, the starter engages and starts and the bike runs very easily without stalling. Continutity is fine from the battery to the starter. I am told it might be similar to an old Chrysler and their ceramic ballast resistors but I see no such animal in the circuit or in the Clymer manual. It is a new and fully charged battery. Thanks in advance for any help.
