Hey, i´m in a jam. On a big trip that should take a few more days riding before getting snowed on. I rode about 360km today, and at about the 300km mark this clunking sound that i can feel the vibration of from the foot peg occurs. It happened at a hwy speed, so i pulled over..nothing visible from that stance, and from then on, accelerating and changing gears in a super touch mannor, the sound came and went, so i cruised at about 40 km/hr for awhile on the side of the hwy´s shoulder without a sound, then very gradually to 70km/hr..got into the nearest big town/city with mechanics...but the clunking did come back when fluctuating and accelrating speed. This clunking has happened before awhile ago but went away very quickly as i continued riding. In the cold weather as well... What the hell is this? something to do with the shaft drive? gearbox? stator? quick response to help me be on my way would be f´in grand! Craig |
