I know just how you feel. As it came from the factory it would have had a 15 uo front and a 41 in the rear giving you about 4700 rpm at 60. I am getting ready to do some changing on mine because I had a gs 550 and I went down 3 teeth rear and up one front and shed about 600 rpm at cruise and it turned the bike into the most mello cruiser allowing me to cruise 70 ish with no strain at all. Unfortunately with the 630 chain on the 750 there is not a 38 tooth available stock. I am going to go up one tooth on the front and see how many rpm i lose and if that is not enough I will have a custome 38 rear made for it and pay the extra $20 or so. My 750 is so strong in 5th at low speeds I think giving up some rpm will not adversely affect the mid range performance. I drive like an old woman anyway so what the heck!
