Im trying to give my 77 GS750 a cafe racer look. I want to lower the forks just a couple of inches and/or raise the rear end. Has anyone done that with this style bike yet? I read that you can cut the forks down, and i heard i can modify where the rear shocks, maybe weld a bracket that would raise the hole that the rear shocks bolt to. Any suggestions?
