Anyone have any ideas. I have a 1982 GS750T Suzuki. Last winter I started and let it run in the garage as to not let it sleep for months. After about a half hour I went back out and noticed it was no longer running.(It also smelled like something burned.) After the weather warmed up I went out to diagnose the problem and found a dead miss on cylinders 1 and 4. These cylinders share the same coil and so I thought it was an easy case. However, just to be safe I swapped coils and what do you know, still a misfire on 1 and 4. Spark is present, swapped plugs and misfire doesn´t change, fuel is ok. I haven´t checked compression with a gauge yet, but they all feel the same with my finger jammed in the hole. Also checked valve lash which is within specs. Am I missing something? Any help appreciated.
