i just purchased a 1979 gs 550e suzuki, and it has set for 15 years, got the carbs cleaned up and it runs pretty good, but after running it for a hour and riding, it sounds like a lifter tapping, can i manually adjust the lifters on the bike to make sure, its not loose, and i changed the oil , with 10 -40 , but i read online that i can now use, 10-50w, just looking for some help, also, if anyone knows, how much the air needle jet is supposed to be backed out, i was told a turn and a quarter, and someone else says 3 turns, thanks eric
