| Hallo all, Leaking head gasket, so off with camcover and remove camshafts and leave rod supporting cam chain, with the carbs still attached undo all head bolts find the 10mm on the front, bolts still in place holding the chain tensioner between the carbs. but not able to lift the head, i am aware of the corrosion on the studs problem but but a block of wood and copper mallet fail to shift it. the mileage is 27ooo from new but been stored 5yrs, came with no logbook and a 6week wait. but my guess its 82--85 and then can anyone point me in the right direction for a head gasket, just the head gasket. lucky to have a fully equiped workshop. Any guidance is appreciated. |
