I had this happen to a recently purchased 450GSL , 1982. I was told that the floats in the carbs will stick and allow gas to enter the crank case. The fix was to drain the crank case, be prepared for plenty of fluids. The gas oil mixture will drain out, probably need to run carb cleaner through the gas tank while running it slow. |
