I have an ´81 GS 450. When I hit the starter button the starter, middle gear and the gear around the crankshaft just spin, the motor doesn´t turn over. The motor does turn manually. I replaced the starter clutch and it still does the same thing. There is a small hole in the crank where the gear goes, is there some sort of pin or key that goes in there? And if there is, what´s it called and do you know where I can get one? And does anybody have any detailed schematics online or in a file? Please email me with any responses.
