Hello any one here?. Im John. Bought a 87, Suzuki gs450 L.. few months ago. 31,000 miles really good shape. Im 58 years old, an like older bikes. Had to put in shop to have a new tire, an charging problem fixed.
Currently. She cranks immediately, . Takes a lot of choke down the road, . Boggs down over 42 mph. Runs fine til then.
Adding choke gets me up to 50-60, mph. For a bit.
.im going to carb clean, spray,as well as gas additive cleaner. Maybe theres carbon on valves,or carb jets.
Anyone had these issues, all advice welcome tks John
