Why would someone buy a 10 year old bike whose parts are very hard to come buy and a bike that has been reported with frequent carburator problems and flat spots in its small torque curve? Why not go for the ,seemingly, far better and more reliable Suzuki SV 650?Ive recently come across a 1992 Bandit GSF 400 with only 1800 miles on its clock.Calling a few Suzuki dealers was met with responces such as."Its a piece of crap," to.. "I never even heard of the bike."Im also concered about a bike thats been sitting for so long without being started. What do its insides look like?!Also. Most GSF websites make no mention about the reliabilty or durabilty of the bike but are deluged with people looking to make modifications.I love the looks of the bike but logic steers me to look away for the above reasons.
