Hi Ken,Yes! the alloy swing arm from the 80 GS 1100 hangs right in the 79s frame.I want to do that too,but have other things I want to adress first.E bay had 2 of them on about a month ago.(60 each).Good luck,watch for %&#!¤s and ride on.keep me posted .........Mike from NY
