what were suzuki doing? the uk model had white/blue pinstripe paint job, bikini fairing and modded pipes, plus some´oribble tweaks to the carbs - more flat spots than a witches tit! however. lets not get too critical because this my first ride on a litre machine and my pants got very warm and smelly!! a very silly bike for the road at the time and stupidly fast.. ok I know modern tackle is even faster, but remember these had skinny rubber and brakes made from toffee! best laugh was riding this in france along the prom at la rochelle in ´82 - my mate was a generous lad - bless his sole - as he would lend me this rubber burner when he became very ****. He seemed to think I was the more sober one and was a more responsible rider in order to get us back to the camp site!!... very misled!! great bike and superb value - don´t think he ever did wipe off the yellow headlight paint. Any way it it didn´t lastlong as it was a precursor to us frightening ourselves stuipid on the road, so we both brought 350YPVS´s to proddy race.. oh hum |
