I have a 1978 gs1000, I recently put an oil cooler on it. I run the hoses which are 3/8 inch off the back of the motor where the oil pressure switch is. I run these lines to an older lockhart oil cooler. I also have an oil pressure gauge mounted on the oil gallery plug. My problem is when the bike is at idle my oil light flickers at me. This is with a fresh oil and filter change too. I heard I can run a gs750 oil pump and that would fix my problem? Any help would be great. Thankyou
