Started last fall restoring my 2nd GS1000GL I had a 82 GS1100GL 12 years ago and had to sell it. Last fall I picked up a 81 GS1000GL for next to nothing. I had been sitting since 07 I think becuse the starte switch had stoped working I rebuilt the switch to night.

I have taken it down to the frame and repainted all the frame and brakets. A few wires need to be repaired the carbs rebuilt. To night its cranking and will fire. Need to get all the parts to bolt up the exhust waiting on a few parts to come in the mail.
