Starting trouble..

Please help!
This began just yesterday. I get power when turning the ignition on, but when pressing the start button.... nothing, not even a click. I´ve checked fuses, and wiring that I can reach without pulling the whole thing apart. I gave the starter a little tap. I pulled the starter switch apart and cleaned it up, checked the contact on the clutch lever and still nothing. The only thing I haven´t done is hooked up a volt meter, because I don´t have one.. That´s the next step.

If you can give any more pointers I would greatly appreciate it.
