I have an older bike the gr 650 1985 its been a good bike I have approximately 50,000 kms on it so far but one problem I have found it I am not getting the mileage I should out of the bike I travelled today approximately 160kms on one tank of gas which is 2 and a half gallons of gas I think I should be getting better mileage, I had the carberateurs cleaned within the last two years and they were very clean inside no varnish build up, the bike is in need of new seals as I top the oil up every 200km on trips as it leaks oils around the seals of the base of the engine and the top of the engine, I was told this would not have much effect on the bike, I keep my chain tight and pressure in my tires correct in order to preserve fuel and dont drive faster than 110km on the highway, my exhaust pies don´t leak, so the engine pressure should be the same, maybey I am to expect this type of fuel mileage out of my bike, the engine has not been opened up since I have owned so I could not tell you what the inside is like, I find that on warm day of 15 degrees celcius I have to open the throttle to warm it up for at least thirty seconds, I also checked the fuel lines for leaks haven´t found anything and the bike burns clean out the exhaust any body have the same problems Brad thanks
