I have just bought a gn250 1996 for my wife who has just passed her test in Northern Ireland. The bike has just 3,500 miles on it and it is a real minter. She is well pleased with it but is a little disapointed with the performance. Having just moved up from a 125 this is a bit frustrating. Neither she nor I can coax it passed 50mph! All reports on this bike that I have read give a top speed of 70 - 90mph. Do you know if this bike was restricted for european use or have I misread the reports for kph instead of mph? The previouse owner had not restricted it himself. Help!
