I just bought a 2003 suzuki dr-z 125 and want to know a few things.

when i pull the clutch in to switch gears (up, down, doesn´t matter) the front end surges down, and seems like the brakes are dragging.
***however, when im in nuetral, the bike rolls freely (when im pushing it around, i havent ridin it too much since it is doing this.)

is this normal )?

should i NOT use the clutch after i get going ?


also,
the owner said there was less than 8 hours on this bike since new, (and it is very clean), but there´s worn paint where my boots rub against the frame, (does that wear out after 8 hours?)
