| I am from Romania and i have a little problem. I don´t have a service manual for my DR 800 BIG.I´ve changed the distribution chain and the second chain( i don´t know the english for it)-the chain which connects the crankshaft sprocket to the balance sprokets.The second chain has four colored links ,disposed in three places on the chain surface ( because the three signs on the chain are disposed at almost equal distances and for not creating confusions at the assemble,one of the three signs is formed of two colored links and i suppose that the sign located on the sproket must correspond with the link located between the two colored links) which have to corespond to the signs on the three sprokets.First time i assembled the chain with the sign formed of the 2 colored links,coresponding to the crankshaft sproket,cosidering the crankshaft sproket as the main sproket,but it seemed logical to me (in the point of view of the mecanical movement-piston position opposite to the balance)to assemble this sign corresponding to the sign of the rear balance sproket,which moves the distribution chain too.So which is the chain position corresponding to the 3 sprokets? This is my dilema!!!
