I recently bought a new DR650 (2009) and am very pleased with it but there is a sound emitted that concerns me. At some power settings I hear what can best be described as a rattling or vibrating sound. This is evident when cruising in any gear but mostly when accelerating slightly. The sound disappears when heavy acceleration is applied. I´m wondering if it isn´t a heat related thing like \\
