I have just come across this site , Having owned my dr650 k2 for five and a quarter years and covering 62980kms on it I still am impressed by the whole package. I use it to commute 30 kms aday summer and winter also for road touring and back road / track riding / touring from snow covered tracks to high temp summer tracks. The only problem so far has been a stuck brush in the startermotor which was a simple brush holder replacement , I have a few modifacations like an alloy crash plate 19mm handlebar riasers and use knobley tyres most of the time bridgestone 301 front and Kenda 270 rear which do between 12 thousand and 14 thousand kms better than adventure tryes off road and ok on road.
