hi just got dr500 1982 x reg it was a none runner,ive got it up running now,tried it out today after a short while it start to coff and splutter,as though it was going to cut out,or starveing of petrol,but it was really hot the engine, can anybody help me please,does this sound normal for this kind of bike. plus how much oil does it take in the engine please as theres no dipstick on the nob you take out on the left handside,plus does it need a battery on also,as at the moment it running without one,
