I have a 2002 essentially the same bike, not much has changed over the years. The manual recomends replacing oil and filter and final gear oil at 600 miles. Next oil change at 4000 miles and then 7500, 11000, and 15000. Or in months, it´s 2, 12, 24, 36, 48 whichever comes first, mileage or months.
