Clutch slipping on my 2006 Vs 800 boulevard

I just bought a 2006 Vs 800 boulevard it has been sitting up for 5 years. I have cleaned carburetor,the motor cranks and runs good. But the clutch slips when ever thrown gets hot. What could be the issue?
