Please note that it is normal for the single cylinder engines to backfire when you let off on the gas and or down shift. Changing mufflers and carb settings will make you bike run different but most likely not stop the backfiring. I have had a bunch of single cylinder dirt bikes over the years and they all backfire! I assume the S40 to be no different. For whatever it is worth! |
