Sluggish running - backfiring |

I recently purchased a used 2007 S40, 350 miles, bought from a local dealer. Never having driven a Suzuki and the dealer not allowing me to try the bike, I bought with out riding. It runs very slughish and has a habit of backfiring. I bought the bike back to the dealer after 1 month and told them the problem. They said they would check and see what the problem was, after 1 week they said they could not find anything wrong. I rode for a few more weeks then stored it in a garage for 2 months. Went to start the bike and it wouldn´t turn over. had a friend look at it and checked the spark plug which was very loose charged the battery, made sure gas was in the tank, and still not starting. Any ideas before I have to bring it back the the dealer who sold it to me. Many thamks, Joanna |
