Since 1965, I´ve owned from a 45 inch Indian Scout to a Suzuki T20 X6 to a Honda Goldwing. My favorite all round bike, partly due to my 125 pound frame, is the Suzuki S40. It´s light, yet plenty comfortable on the highway. But I think Suzuki is missing the boat. They could give the following features to the bike and make a bang in the motorcycle industry: Alloy wheels, EFI, 4 gallon gas tank, six speed gear box, durable cam chain assembly. The belt drive was ahead of its time in the 80´s. But Suzuki did a dis-service to the industry, discarding the gasketed carb needle seat for the o-ring type. For me, over the years, that was the cause of highway break-downs on three different bikes. But, like I said, with typical, contemporary improvements, the S40 could be much more bike.
