The front left cover has to come off.
The gen is in a oil bath.
The stock gen will cost about 299.00 plus tax.
The after market one that I got is what a lot of police bikes use.
Before you start this project make sure that you get a new gen cover gasket first.
The wires on my new gen are alot larger.
