The 2005 C90 has a 55 amp generator.
My gen. went out- so I took it to the dealer.
They told me that according to the specs that it
was ok- they also told me that is was not intended to
charge the battery at adle- he showed me the spec sheet.
The spec sheet read so gen should charge at 13.5 to 15 volts
at 5000 rpm.
I got a heavy duty after market gen. $129.00 at electro port. com.
After I installed it I was getting 14.2 at idle.
Called my dealer to let them know what I was getting.
