I recently rode to Sturgis SD from Johnson City, Tn. Total mileage 3,650. I developed a pinging noise and had it checked at the Suzuki dealer in Sturgis. He said it sounded like a lifter problem and but I could ride it but to have it checked when I got home. I took it to my Dealer and they tore down the engine and the Suzuki Tech. rep said I should use Regular gas not the 93/94 octane. They said there was a carbon buildup on the pistons and that was causing my pinging noise.
Question: What octane fuel should be used in the C90T ??
