I just finished my first cross country trip on my 2007 c50. It performed perfectly. Plenty of power, plenty of speed and comfortable. Took mainly I-10 path from West Palm Beach, Florida to Sacramento. I had no mechanical problems and the fuel injection performed perfectly at multiple altitudes. I went with the fuel injection because I am traveling to and from different/extreme altitudes (Sacramento to Lake Tahoe). the c50 having fuel injection and a shaft driven were huge selling points. I researched everything out there and found this to be the perfect bike for my needs.

OK, the cons.... yes there are....
1) I am constantly reaching for a 6th gear....

2) It feels light to me at high speeds or in high winds. At speeds of 90+, I feel like it literally wants to take off the ground (just as an FYI, plenty of power left at 90+). Coming cross country I encountered high cross winds on I10 in New Mexico (common this time of year); I later learned gusts of 40mph+. The scared the %&#!¤ out of me as the gusts would move me from one side of the lane to the other. I ended up stopping at the first hotel, but just know, it was New Mexico I10 - It was a ways.

Pros..
1) Its big enough to tarvel with, as well as small enough to bop around town.
2) Its a looker (I think).
3) Fuel Injection.
4) Drive Shaft.
