This is a good Question, but I can tell you this, Its enough. I love my Boulevard and ride Two up with my wife. I weigh 250lbs and my wife weighs somewhat less, we can pass on steep hills in 5th gear. Don´t trouble your self with numbers, go ride the bike and you will buy it, seriously.
