its possible you have a exposed wire, or you need to up the fuze amp do it in increments of 5, so theres no real chance of shorting out the harness, but its not a bad idea to put an ohm detector to it and turn the key to on and see if your getting any power, should be 12.0 or 12.1 on the reading if not there is a connection problem..
