I brought my c109rt a few mths ago and test road it with my wife on the back , the test ride was great because the road the dealer took us on was very smooth , we loved the bike so we brought it . I have only traveled about 1000 km on the bike since but have found the suspension to be quite rought and has a lot of rebound ,esp in the rear end i have set the preload to the min setting and ajusted the tyre pressures with out much improvement . After speaking to many suspension experts in Sydney & Brisbane they have both recommended the following , replace the very primative standard shocky unit with an Ohlins shock & spring which will be set up for my weight etc , they also recomended replacing the front fork springs & fitting travel control valves , they say the ride difference will be like night and day , at a price tag of about $2000.00 I would hope they were right , we will see ? |
