I have a 95 version as well. Is quite thirsty, but may pay to check that it has a 15 tooth on the front. (Some from Japan had the 14 tooth)

As a benchmark, I am doing 6,700rpm at 100kph on the motorway with brand new rubber on the rear. With worn rubber it was 7,000 rpm.
