I think you might want to first turn the key to on, check to see if you have any lights coming on i.e front indicators, dashboard lights. If these are on, and does not seem weak then check to see if you´ve hit the kill switch located on the right hand next to the throttle.

It is a little red button. Make sure that this is not switched.

Else, take the battery out, and have it checked at a dealer.
You might also want to check the fuse box, located under the seat.
While you are doing this, also check to see if you might have any loose wires, not well connected wires connecting to this box and to the battery.
