ZX9 seat release latch

I bought a 2003 ZX9. I´m trying 2 locate the seat lowering wrench from under the riders seat. I used the key to rmove the passengers seat but cant seem to find the release latch to undo the rider seat. Where should I look for it or how can I remove that seat?
