i have also got a ZX9 1998 c2 model. as far as i,m aware there is no fuel gauge, or if there is ive never found it. i cant see anything in the haynes manual ive got either.
if hyou have the time or inclanation its worth while to strip and clean the carbs if you have only just brought the bike and run out of fuel , as you have no idea when it was last done and or what crap has been dragged into the carbs .
