| Hello first time here figured i would see if i could get some more opinions. I have a 2001 zx7r bought it wrecked and was rebuilt i have it 99.5% back together just need some minor screws here and there and a v-cowl which i cant find anywhere for a resonable price. I am getting ready to paint the bike this will be my first time painting i figured why not i have done everything else. Any suggestions on a design i am going with a white base and a green pearl i hav eloojed for pics to get ideas but havent had any luck there. Also for anyone who has painted if you could give me any advice it would be much appreciated, seriously anything. Along the lines of painting i am going to paint the very bottom a darker color to hide little chips and stuff from rocks any suggestions on how to go about that would i need to clear over that or finish the clear and use a hi-gloss spray enamel ????? Another question how hot will my exhaust get i wanted to paint pipe black just the exhaust i guess is what it would be considered not the part where the sound comes out but the part that gets hot and makes the back of your right leg sweat when its hot out and your sitting at a light. would a high heat paint work for that or is that not good enough i read the can it said for temps up to 500 but i have no clue how hot it would get. Again i am new to this and probably asked to many questions |
