i bought my 99 ninja zx6r in 2005 in mint condition with 8000 miles on it, i paid $3500 for it then and i think it was an awesome deal. i love the way the bike handles and looks but the best thing about it is how it sits from seat to bars ur leaned over but definetly not to far like you will see in the cbr´s. plenty of power and sounds good man. prob 45 mpg. if i were you i would get it i love mine.
