Dear Ashley you need to start on a lower displacement bike like a 250 ninja. It´s like learning to fly and starting out on the space shuttle. Take a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Rider Course 1st, they provide a learner bike to train on. Get a motor vehicle operators license with a Motorcycle Endorsement before riding in the street otherwise you will be riding illegally. Also insurance is a must have. Good Luck. If you plan to ride the free bike it needs to be looked at by a professional mechanic. Superbikes eat tires and need new ones at least every two years. Old tires are dangerous. Oil and Coolant need replacing. Check Brakes, plugs, AIR & OIL filters. These are minimums before the bike can be safely ridden. Battery, starter 7 CHARGING SYSTEM SHOULD BE LOOKED AT TOO.
